The Cancer Association of Shelby County provides the following direct services to patients.
Transportation
Financial assistance for those patients who are unable to furnish their own transportation to locations where specialized service is administered.
Supplies & Equipment
Medical and nursing supplies for patients who otherwise might not be able to purchase equipment
Medication
Financial assistance to patients in need of medication, chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
In Home Assistance
In home care and assistance to maintain qualith of life and a safe environment for patients who prefer to live at home.
Insurance
Financial assistance in paying health insurance premiums to insure patients continued coverage.
Patient’s Human Service Program
To provide assistance to patients in need of certain necessities such as shelter and food.
