SHELBY COUNTY BRAS FOR THE CAUSE FUNDRAISER
Shelby County Bras for the Cause event fundraiser is open to individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations that wish to create a one-of-a-kind Bra for our upcoming event. Event proceeds benefit Cancer Association of Shelby County Inc. to assist those battling cancer in our community.
The bras, decorated by community members and local businesses, will be displayed online at and at local businesses in the community. You are invited to vote for your favorite bra(s) at $1.00 per vote. Vote online (see below – Vote for your Favorite Bra) or by mailing a check to the Cancer Association of Shelby County Inc. at 31 Public Square, Shelbyville, Indiana. Please reference in the check memo the bra number and name. You will also be able to vote at each of the bra designers’ business until Wednesday, February 25th.
Every dollar raised lets us continue to do the work that we do. This event is a critical component of the work that we do, which is to fulfill financial assistance requests for local patients and to help relieve some of the burden that comes with cancer treatments.

Shelby County Bras for the Cause kicks off with Build a Bra on November 17th, 2025. See the below Bra Entry Rules & Guidelines. The Registration Sign-up Form must be completed along with a $10.00 entry fee (nonprofit entry fee $1.00) to be turned in no later than January 15th, 2026 (deadline). There will be winners, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd determined by voting donations also a Committee Favorite Winner. Nonprofits, retail, restaurants/bars, small, large businesses, individual, groups etc. are all encouraged to participate.

Voting opens online at on February 11th with online voting ends on Wednesday, February 25th at 9:00 a.m. On-site voting will take place at our evening fundraising event, Shelby County Bras for the Cause, on Saturday, February 28th.
It’s a celebration!
Shelby County Bras for the Cause wraps up at our Fundraising Event. Grab your friends, relatives, coworkers, etc., and enjoy dinner, music by Big Skies, raffles, and the final voting of your favorite bra.

- Tickets: $30, on Sale January 15th, 2026, to the Public. Pre-Tickets sales to the Designers start January 1st, 2026 – call to reserve your spot in advance of ticket sales.
